I was surprised I hadn't broke down yet.
Was I becoming immune?
Did I not need that millimeter-sized, green pill
that seemed to alter my mood so significantly?

It was something about the chill in the air.
It was something about how the rain hit my bare chest.
It was something about how I couldn't tell if I was drenched
in the precipitation of the sky or precipitation of my eyes.

I love this feeling, even if it makes me cry sometimes.

I saw my reflection.

Keflavik, Iceland

This was our last night.
I still get emotional when I think back on it.
We cried about our dads, our childhood, and the fact that we were leaving tomorrow.
I felt close to you. Closer than ever before.
And I couldn't believe how lucky I was to know someone like you.
Someone who had been through hard things.
Someone who knew what they wanted, and how to get it.
Someone with a broken heart.

I could never in a million years forget those two short weeks spent in paradise. I'd go back in a heartbeat, but it wouldn't be the same without you in the bed next to me.

fly away from me

I know you can see
things that they can't see.

So just take all your pain, and put it on me.
So that you can breathe.

We know that we're young
And no shit we're confused
But will you watch us drown?
What are you so afraid to lose?

Lovely Bloodflow

Did I overreact?

Did I believe you had a commitment to me?
An obligation to be here?
Or is it because I thought I knew you?

I thought you were different.
Not like all those others;
Someone that actually gave a shit about relationships
And feelings
And something other than your skateboard
And getting wasted.

But you're not.
You used me,
and left me.
And it was no big fucking deal to you.

You want to make up,
hang out,
see me.
But in reality, all you want is
what's
in between
my legs.

"Plea" -Baths

It takes a lot of courage to go out there and radiate your essence.
And I did
for you.
You pathetic,
dead beat,
pot smoking,
high school drop out.
